Tired of playing with only one pong ball at a time? In ImposiPong the balls split apart into many balls as you hit them!
Player 1's controls are the left/right arrows. Player 2's controls are a and d.
There are 4 different game modes, 3 of which are single player and one two player.
The single player modes include:
Practice mode - Verse the walls!
Invisible Roof mode - Verse a rapidly moving invisible roof! (balls do not double here, that would make it truly impossible)
Gravity mode - Keep the balls up as long as you can!
The two-player mode is similar to standard pong, however here balls can split into two at any time!
In ImposiPong you are given a bunch of lives, you lose a life each time you miss a ball. You also gain lives as you play just by hitting the balls.
There are 4 powerups which you will encounter:
Mushroom (doubles the size of the paddle)
Lighting (doubles the speed of the paddle)
x2 (doubles your points)
Diamond (gives you extra lives)
This game is designed for iOS and Android so it includes a bunch of extras (the gap ad the bottom if the screen is for ads). As you play you earn diamonds which you can use in the in-game store to unlock different paddles and balls. For you guys there is a cheat, if you fling to the bottom of the shop screen, click the Hungry Chicken ad (it's not going to take you to a website don't worry), you will get +500 gems if you click it when you are low. Players 1 and 2 can also separately select their custom paddles. The menus are designed only for flinging of the mouse, so you'll have to quickly slide you're mouse to fling through them. As it is designed for mobile devices, there's a few misleading buttons, the achievements button (star) is inactive on desktop and the leader boards button will show you your high scores. Saving score etc has been disabled in this version.
All sounds/textures were created by SuperCoolGames aside from a few of the alternate balls and the sun/moon, which were sourced from a free image website.
What's left?
I currently have around 100 balls and 50 pads for the mobile versions but I am open to suggestions on those! Got a funny idea for a pad or a ball? Let us know :)
Hopefully it will be out on mobile devices in the coming days! For more information see www.supercoolgames.net.
