PiratePONG

Controls:
Player1: wasd for movement. Fire with left ctrl.
Player2: arrow keys for movement. Fire with right ctrl.

About:
Kraken loves playing with beach balls, just avoid spoiling his fun!

PONG with pirate ships. You have 5 lives each turn and first to get 3 points (other player lost all lives 3 times) wins. If you get hit you are slowed for 2 seconds.

Me and my friend made this game making it the first entry we have made for Ludum Dare. We enjoyed making it and we hope you enjoy playing it. :)

Tools used:
Graphics: Photoshop, Pickle.
Engine: Unity
Sounds: Free and open sounds.

Bugs:
Web player is recommended. Linux not tested.

I like the setting and idea with the Kraken. Also, nice bass sound at the beginning.

I don't have a right control button on my mac pro but the shoot mechanic is pretty sweet for different gameplay

Cool art-style, would have liked to see a more game-play oriented change however. But the animation is very cool indeed. Oh, one tip, please give the player the option to mute the sound, or even better, change the volume.

Really cool, I especially like the pixel art design.

Although a single player version where you could play against some sort of AI would be fun.

Cool art style on this and I like the idea where the ships have to turn etc. Plays nice and smoothly. Single player would be the only other thing I want from this cool take on the original Pong.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! It has been fun to read. :) We agree that sound controls and single player would be good things to add. Especially single player since most people will play it that way.
