Pirates Vs Planets

Inverse Pong style game. Dodge the attacks!

Press Escape to quit ( or reload the page if in web player )

Choose your side:
Play as Pirates trying to capture the moon using their harpoons and destroy it.
Play as the Planets and crush the pirates using various planetary debris.

Or play head to head -vs- mode with a friend. Supports Xbox controllers, or keyboard.

Planet keys are - WASD + space bar to fling your asteroids.
Pirate ships moves with Left and Right arrows, and aims with the mouse. Fire using Mouse button one.

All art and code is custom made. Sounds are public domain, CC-ByAttrib 3, or re-mixed based on Kenny.nl

At the moment, the moon is overpowered. Still trying to balance the game!

Alright, it should be a little more balanced now. Pirates take longer to respawn, and the "moonlets" now have lower gravity, and its easier to break the anchors.

Great graphics and effects! And a surprising idea. I had some problems with the controls, because I have only a trackpad on my notebook. So on playing the pirates, I have to use the left hand to control the cursor. It makes the game much more challenging for me. I would have thought that the check boxes at the top allow to switch the controls to wsad, but it always jumps back to controller1 when I click on play as pirate.

Thanks Jupiter! I like your reactions. We're trying to work on the balance still so it's less frustrating to play against the AI.
