A good take on a timeless classic but if I were you I would remove the effect on the paddle. In a place where precision is really important and you need to move it quicky not seeing clearly enough just where your paddle is is a huge bummer, creating a bunch of -That should not have happened!- moments.
That is just a slight visual complaint though. Feel good about your game because it is good!
