You wake from a vivid dream with a new purpose in life...to be the first human ever to fly a rocket into the sun. The combination of wacky dialogue and gloomy hand-painted art creates a very unusual feel.
The artwork is really cool, and I thought that the mood of the game is really pleasant, kind of an apocalyptic feel, which worked well with the story. Good job!
Thanks. You don't often hear "pleasant" and "apocalyptic" in the same sentence, but this game sort of turned out that way.
I wrote all of the dialog before making any art, and the art ended up having an unexpected dark feel. Not what I originally intended, but it seemed to work for some reason.
Having some issues with the WebGL build (sometimes won't run or runs but keyboard doesn't work). Anyone who tries it, if it doesn't work, please let me know your browser and version number.
Windows and Web builds seem to be ok, so try them if WebGL isn't working. Thanks.
Great game, I like the narrative based puzzles and even though it was short I felt somehow satisfied with the amount of content. I love the art-style, overall for the time it was made in it is a good game.
Love, love, love the graphics! I included it in part 2 of my MiniLD #61 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/WIdnIm9QNOs
Glad everyone likes the graphics. I wish I had time to make the gameplay more interesting, but given the theme of this jam I decided to put 90% of my effort into the art. That's the part that I usually skimp on in order to make the deadline.
