Pakemasteroids! is Pacman, Snake, and a little bit of Asteroids all mixed in. Eat dots, get a tail, eat pills. When you eat a ghost it splits into 4 smaller ghosts who rush "home" to reform. You can also eat the small ghosts without a pill and the ghosts will repawn after a few seconds.
Controls: WASD - Move SPACE - Start game (from Menu) X - Clear scores
Looking good. A few things: The game window was too big for my monitor. I found that I got stuck on the walls quite a lot. I'm not too sure how the snake 'tail' effects the game.
Thanks for the feedback! The camera issue is a bit of a bug, but easily fixed. Pacman uses simple raycast and speed stoppers to move so it's possible to get jammed up on things like corners. It was the first thing programmed so other elements work better. As for the tail it's a simple snake tail as in the game snake. It's possible, in some instance, to get trapped between it and ghosts/walls/etc. Just another obstacle to deal with.
Very nice mashup! very enjoyable. I like the mechanic with passing through the trail, it really helps, and good idea with those small ghosts it's fun chasing them around.
a few purely technical notes: * You can delete the "*.pdb" files from the folder when uploading, they take up ~150mb while your game is only ~30mb and they are not needed to play.
* When embedding from itch.io go to: itch.io game page -> Widget -> Embed Game -> "Ludum dare? Just paste this link" use the link there to let people play your game directly here instead of going to itch.io
