Wrecking Ball Asteroids

Decades of blowing up asteroids has brought an age of laser resistant super asteroids. That is why the genius engineers of D.A.T.A.S.S. (Dangerous Abnormal Turbulent Asteroid Survival Squadron) has invented The Crusher™; a giant sphere that can amplify the force applied against an asteroid by a magnitude of over 9000.

This was fun, i did a physics asteroid clone too. A variant of this could be jointing the ball behind the ship & using an impact force threshold to damage the asteroids, so you'd need to swing it.

Btw if the engineers of DATASS truly were geniuses they'd build your ship *inside* the ball.

I liked the idea of using a wrecking ball to destroy the asteroids quite a lot! It's an interesting gameplay mechanic that creates some interesting situations alongside the firing.

A fun game! I think it would be more challenging if the wrecking ball only destroyed objects when it is in motion, but it's still very cool.
