System Tycoon super lite

In System Tycoon super lite you manage your own solar system given to you by The Empire. You colonize planets, build them up and trade with the imperial market.

This is my first (finished) game alltogether. It's made with Unity3D in C#. I hope you enjoy it :), otherwise please leave me the reason why.

EDIT: So, I uploaded a new version(I actually found out I put the wrong version here first :)), I shuffled the UI and added an enemy to play againts.

Pretty solid base, but with no real purpose, this game is no fun. Maybe you should compete with another entity trying to colonize everything, or something similar. There is no competition and no punishment. Think about how life works and what makes it interesting.

Also, as I see you struggle with UI you should look up something like Material Design or just look up UI design in modern games. Even though they are usually composed of colored boxes and text they look good. Try to keep it simple - shapes and colors. You might do better with a vectorial graphics editing program (the only one I know that is free is Inkscape but there are probably some other ones that are popular right now). A simple tip that I can give you is that adding some space(padding) to the menu items and text is going to make them a lot nicer.

What I really like is the UI layout, even though it could use some more work - like bringing them closer to each other so my eyes don't have to dance on the screen. It is already pretty clear and you don't get lost.

What really needs to be done to the game in its current state is to have price labels added for the buildings. Also, I would love an indicator for planets that are already colonized.

Another simple thing that can improve the experience is adding free music to your game. Free atmospheric music is not that hard to be found.

You're on the right path, you just have to keep going!

Thank you very much, I'll try to patch it if I'll manage it :)

It took me a little bit to understand what was happening, but after I did, I found it to be fun. It is very challenging because of the pace though.
I think some tutorial or more explanation screens are needed, because some people will quickly give up not knowing whats happening. Also, some balancing is needed, because I couldn't get remotely close to winning by building balanced entities, but just spending everything on banks, even on enemies' planets almost granted me easy win :)

It took me some time to get what is happening - but I thought it was fun (though I didn't win - the enemy is quite fast, but I guess if you optimize your technique it is definitely possible).
Are you supposed to be able to build things on planets you did not colonize?

So, at first the game appears very interesting. But quickly we realize that there is not a real goal. Actually, you build a few factories, these give you a lot of materials. After that you build only bank to have infinite money. To finish you buy the upgrade to colonize another planet until you lose. The factory gives too much materials. The same for bank in gold I think. The game here is a very good base, you should add real goals now. Keep improve this game !
