Very nice controls and very fun to play. I love the old arcade art style following the original highscore systems used by arcades. Good job!

The game plays really well, although I tried to speedrun it and was rewarded with very few points at all! Good AI and I love that the door is closed when you move to a new room.

I shall conquer that leaderboard, oh yes, I shall.

I forgot how to use the 8-direction movement/shooting, but by the end of my run I had a lot of fun with diagonal long shots :D
Some of the rooms where you didn't have as much cover when you went in were really engaging. And so is the AI.
Maybe some directions would be cool, since i was getting lost in the empty rooms.
Love the arcade style, and its a good fit with the theme.
