Shark survival game. Jump them Salty mothers till you can jump ’em no more. on screen high score keeps the challenge alive and simple controls keep the frustration at bay!!
Fun for a little test game. Got to 54 seconds. A suggestion for improvement, give some warning of where sharks will come out. Let the player not only react to whats happening but have a half second to plan their next move rather than just hoping a large wave will not come out in a way that doesn't allow them to dodge. Maybe a small water spout or some rippling effect just before a shark launches out of the water?
that's a really good idea, thanks! would make it way more strategic and less just arcade twitch action which i think would be a good thing to change. that's what i love about Ludum , always helpful people to gain good tips from! :)
