You're a survivor that had the unfortunate event of being quarantined inside a city with a bunch of zombies! Luckily you did get to contact help, but they won't be able to help you escape for 2 weeks.
The game is open-world and basically you're stuck inside a sectioned off part of the city. There are buildings to explore and items and weapons to get. I would suggest to constantly be on the look out for item boxes (which you can search for items in, but you can only get 1 item per item box per day (respawns at 8:00am)).
Anyways your goal is to survive for 2 weeks in the zombie infested area, so help can reach you to escape. Controls can be found on the title screen.
