Fly around in space, trying to find the blue exit warp gate. There are no enemies, no planets... you're all alone. Just pick up the power, shield and food power ups to help you have enough resources to make it to the end of each level.
"Alone In Space" is built using "Processing". All of the source in Processing is available with each download or the web applet.
Pretty fun. I kinda wish there were enemies or something else to do, I ended up just holding the arrow keys and tapping f a lot. Cool idea though, really like the minimap and the physicsy feel to the whole thing. The fireworks are also a nice touch :)
When you run out of food, it sucks power from your shield. If it gets too low, next hit will kill you. This gets very important in level 34. (Unfortunately, there are only 3 levels in the current version)
Once I figured out that I can use F to collect those orbs things, I blasted through levels like crazy. Actually pretty fun. I did what Matt Rix did, hold the arrows and just spam F. :)
