Great art style and music. I could not get past the part that had the text "That's why I have to do this"

Congrats on your first Ludum Dare! I didn't find the cat... and I also got stuck on the same part as Jiyko. THAT PART IS HARD!

Nice game! I finished it but could not find the cat.. I even played twice to find it ;)

Feels like a nicely polish small game.

I would strongly recommend using a game pad. I used joyToKey, but you could look into including automatic joystick detection.

I enjoyed this quite a bit, though I am also a sucker for anything pixel. The simplistic graphics worked well to convey a feeling of being alone. Audio worked, though some sounds sounded a bit cut off. Gameplay was challenging, but sometimes I wouldn't be able to jump while moving making it needlessly frustrating. Got stuck and decided to quit XD. Congratz on making a great game!

I also had problems moving and jumping at the same time, managed to get to the end but the "That's why I have to do this" room was really hard because of this =[

Wow, I am so annoyed!

*SPOILERS!* So I jump past all these spikes, just for the guy to kill himself at the end by jumping on spikes? Really? *END SPOILERS*

Anyway, pretty decent little platformer, not much innovative here but the sound and graphics do a good job of conveying a mood. So good job!
