Apology: I've not fully tested the game yet, so I expect there are a few bugs. :) Sorry! (Particularly, graphical bugs. I played through to completion once, but didn't test all possibilities.)
Being able to cancel the "move" command rather than selecting a direction would be nice. (in the first room i accidentally tried to "move" the chair a couple of times :P ).
Pepeating the introductions when you reenter each room slows things down a lot.
@increpare: Oh yeah :) I wanted to add more stuff to make the menus more sane, but ran out of time completely. (It was on my list for "if I submit 3 hours early", same with looping the Examine menu back one rather than back to the main room menu.) Next time! :D
-I found a bug : birds in the fountain appeared only after I cought one of them (and I thought : "What a lazy bentosmile, he didn't even draw birds...")
-The game proposed me to swap the bird for the water...but I wasn't supposed to have the bird anymore
-Something weird : Why the icon of the game in ma taskbar is a mIRC icon ?
Aside from this (and the fact I got stuck after the snake room (Why can't I catch a fish with a bucket ? Sounds pretty logic!) It is a lovely game and I think I fell in love with this girl. :)
Nice little adventure and loved the retro graphics. However, I felt a “creepy” mood rather than "alone". I wish it had music; then it would be excellent!
Wow, very surprising. I loved the artwork, and found myself fascinated by the world. Great length for a LD game, just enough options to keep me interested but not to get bored from trial and error.
I played it for a bit but didn't fell like continuing after reaching the third set of doors. Unfortunately, the lack of sound has a negative impact in your game. You should also have added a command to go back to the previous choices. The text adventure-esque options where concise and the art style worked very well. Just a shame that the game was explicit on what to do, watering down the puzzle aspect of it. Pretty good entry, though the "alone" theme could have been developed more.
I'm not too sure about what the story was supposed to be about or where I was, especially since the contents of most of the locations were completely unrelated, but this was still a fun little game. I liked the graphics, though it would have been nice too have some sounds or music.
I like this game, I played it 3x times to have the best ending ! The retro graphics are nice, but the mosaic fade seems more like 16 bit effect. Not really a problem but I would have prefer a more 8bit-ish fader :) Default cursor position on the action "move" would make the game more playable especially for people who start it again... ^^
Wow, super atmospheric game. Sound would have been amazing. I never felt stuck, but I also never felt clever for solving anything. Great looking game though.
This was neat, I really liked the visuals. I liked the dreamlike quality where the narrator didn't seem to be questioning their surroundings (you go "outside" but it isn't snowing...).
I got four separate endings before I got to the "good" one. One thing that tripped me up is it didn't seem very obvious the connection between the final ending and what had gone before. It took me a few playthroughs to realize how the game actually worked. The ending was very sweet.
I wished that when you clicked "move" there was an option to stay put, sometimes I clicked it by accident or to check options and then was forced to go somewhere I didn't want to. It also would have been nice if I could have selected things with space bar (playing this with the mouse made my hand tired!)
Very nice. I like how the environments were very surreal. That and the girl's Picasso-esque appearance really helped the dream-like feel of the game (hooking a fish with the moon? sure. perfect sense in dream-logic).
Noticed a few little graphical bugs. Mainly, the flower was already laying on the path by the rabbit hole before I put it there, and the rabbit never appeared visually. And the bird didn't seem to leave my inventory, I swapped it for the moon after putting it on the cactus. Certainly didn't detract from the experience though.
The gameplay was very straight forward, but it didn't matter because the game was interesting enough to keep me going. Definitely going to have to play through this a few more times to see more of the branches (and I look forward to doing so). Lovely little game all told.
I love the graphics. Most comments here already state what I wanted to say so I'm not going to repeat stuff. Add some moody audio and this is nearly perfect.

(Reminds me a lot of Shadowgate, one of my favourite adventury games)
