Cleansing of the tiny worlds is a some sort of rougelike game which feels like a version of binding of isaac and kirby combined and executed in a sort of retro styled game. The basics are that you control a little orange creature, and you must defeat the random derpy blue birdies's king on the sun.
The game has these mechanics:
A galaxy Planets with random gravitational strength An ending A boss You can die (we failed to put that into previous games) Upgrades Combat UI Sound on nearly everything (thanks to sfxr and newgrounds) (also its pretty hard) Go try it!
This is a great game and nicely stylised! :) I found it a bit difficult trying to use WASD and space _and_ the arrow keys when fighting the birdies ... I would have preferred something like: you shoot in the direction you're looking when you press space (if you have any bullets) and while you keep space held down you keep your mouth open to collect more bullets. Anyway... good music, good graphics, good tutorial (if a bit long :p), in all this has scored more stars than anything I've rated so far
Since I can only do web games for now, and because this doesn't have web version, I can't rate this currently. I'm commenting here so that this shows up in my rated games section so that I can come back later and play when I can do downloads.
Haha, nice game. I like the language used in the tutorial. Made it not just bearable to read through the tutorial, but even slightly funny. The gameplay is cool and the graphical style of the game is very interesting, in a good way of course. Combat could have been a bit more polished tho. Great work!
This is a pretty fun game. There's plenty to do. It can kind of suck if you keep finding only the rate of fire upgrades, though (bad luck, presumably).
This game is amazing! The fact that you managed the time to do the space area with all the world selection and powerup thing and still make the planets gameplay is an achievment! Really enjoyed the separation there. If I could be picky I'd just like to see a bit more variety when fighting the birds, but fun mechanic still. Great entry! Congrats =D
