This is a game about a beaver building and protecting his dam. He is the only animal in the woods that doesn't adapt through the game, making life hard.
As this is the first game we've made with this team, and the first Ludum Dare any of us has done, we messed up a bunch a times. Hours of code were probably written over at some points. Anyway, we think we did well. Enjoy.
Pretty hard, I was able to get my poor beaver wedged into walls a lot. Really cute graphics and catchy music! Its unfortunate though that the game is 50 megs big, that's really gonna reduce your audience.
Great graphics and sound! Nice controls too. I really don't know what I'm doing... Can I kill the fish? Why am I getting wood? Can I like, put up better defenses with the wood? I like how you can kill the birds. Nice touch.
I couldn't figure out what to do after bringing back 21 logs, I couldn't seem to do anything else and the other creatures didn't grow.
Nice polished game, room for more levels/stuff to do, but I might have missed it.
