The unbeatable blob is more a bit of an experiment than a real game, due to an insurmountable lack of time.
You can move by clicking.
Eat the smaller astroids to become bigger. Astroids smaller than you are green-ish, astroids bigger than you are red-ish. Yellow astroids are about as big as you.
There's no penalty for hitting the red astroids, though they will fly off instead.
I know the blob glitches a bit when it gets bigger, I've kept it in as a feature.
The game's main inspirations were Loco Roco and Katamari.
The following features are sorely lacking: - A menu system - Sound/Music - Some way to win - Some way to lose
So feel free to not rate this very highly, I'm quite aware of it's shortcomings. However, I will try to rate as many other games as possible.
Another fair warning: Don't keep it running, or the world will eventually die in a fire. or a huge blob.

I like how the feature list in your description is things that AREN'T in the game. I'm a bit confused as to what I'm meant to be doing, but I think I see the basic idea, which is interesting.
Ahaha, I'm very self-critical. You are meant to gobble up the smaller, green-ish astroids to grow, which allow you to gobble up increasingly bigger astroids. In the end you get so big that your whole computer will go on tilt.
A good idea to do procedural graphics. And when not glitching it looks kind of cool. When you let it run it does get pretty big by itself and should come with an epileptic seizure warning ;) Not a bad idea, but it does need hazards first.
