You are a pilot for Awesome Airlines. You're in the middle of your first flight of today, Flight 1413. Everything is going well. You sit back and are about to take a sip of coffee when the plane lurches, causing you to spill all over yourself. You check the dials and find that you're running out of gas!
You can move your plane using the arrow keys or WASD. The space bar also moves your plane upward. You can move your plane side to side or down without any cost, but it takes up gas to move up.
Fortunately, there are tanks of fuel randomly floating in the sky, so you can refill. But be careful! YOU ONLY GET ONE tank of fuel at a time. If you try to collect fuel when you still have some fuel left in your tank, it will ignite and your plane will explode. Try to fly as far as you can!

Alright, done with my first Ludum Dare! This has been a fun experience, and I learned quite a bit.
The game should work on any machine with Java installed, but I can only verify that it works on OS/X. My apologies to anyone who cannot run the game.
16800m woop! Very addictive. The idea is simple and easy to understand even on the first play-through which is good. Spent a lot longer than I'd like to admit on this game xD but after a while its just too fast and the fuel is too close together to a point where there is a wall of fuel tanks and no gaps in it. Overall though its a really awesome game and with some extra time and some details and powerups it could be even better.
Awesome game! I didn't know how to play at first, but after I read the instructions, I was good. Some sounds would have been nice. Graphics were okay. I really enjoyed playing this game, solid story. Haha. My record was like 26000m or so. Great work and original take on the theme! I think use of the down arrow should have been restricted by also sucking fuel while holding down. Keep it up!
Interesting mechanic with the fuel collection - the fuel ended up being an obstacle more than a necessity, while featuring as both. Nice and addictive little game
Nice simple game. I immediately remembered the famous Gimli Glider incident which I saw in Mayday TV series.. Did you get inspired by this? The flight number is almost the same :-)
Wow, that was actually really fun! First try I did not get it and burst into flames when touching a fuel can. The next few times I did a lot better. What a simple yet interesting mechanic, very well executed! Nice job :D
