LUDUM DARE COMPO #28 - You Only Get One

The goal of the game is to match the patterns and sounds that some intergalactic jamsters have come to earth and challenged you with. Watch and listen to their jams, and play it back to them. Survive 10 rounds and you save the world.

Move the hand with the mouse pointer, and move press the correct key.

Press esc to restart the game.

Or try and freejam, where you are free to play on the alien music instrument.

Extract rar

If WINDOWS

- Launch LD28-SaveTheWorldWithOneFinger.exe

If MAC

- Launch LD28-SaveTheWorldWithOneFinger.app

If LINUX

- Launch LD28-SaveTheWorldWithOneFinger

Disclaimer: Both the Linux and Mac versions are untested.

======== Difficulty Levels ========

There are five keys.

There are ten rounds.

Six playback speeds.

Songs are randomly generated, and speed is determined at the end of the current round.

======== KNOWN ISSUES ========

Occasionally a round doesn't end. Sorry, was unable to fix it in the time remaining. It happened once in about 15 playthroughs. Press ESC to restart the game scene should it happen.

NOTES: I wish I could have found the bug that causes the round to not end, but I'm just too exhausted. I also wish I could've spent more time on the art. The buttons are inconsistent, some are text, some are images, and that annoys me. Thanks and good luck to everyone.
