Theme: The Real World
After reading the theme, I went searching for databases with real world data. I came across a db from NOAA of storms from 1950-2006. I looked through it and saw all the tornadoes. I picked a random storm from the list in Randolph County, AL and found the town of Wadley.
The game's map has the road and general layout of Wadley, with simplified buildings for gameplay and time reasons.
Gameplay: You work for Dick Cheney, the owner of the world's only Weather Machine. Being a somewhat caustic and abrasive person, it's not a hard leap to imagine a scenario where he decides to unleash his Weather Machine on an innocent town of churches, trailers and brick homes.
You get five tornadoes in an attempt to cause $250,000 in property damage. Don't disappoint Mr. Cheney.
Controls:
-LMB to place tornado
-RMB to pivot camera
-WASD to move camera
-R to reset the level
-Esc to go back to the start of the game
