Move left and right with the arrow keys, avoid the fossils and try and pick up the crystals. Each different colour changes your score in a different way... hopefully.
I, too, bore through the darkness and into the light. At which point I just was returned to the title screen. No indication on if I won or lost or what, so I can't be sure if it was a bug/glitch or if that was the end.
