Instead of coal this year, Santa has in fact thrown two bad children into his gladiatorial arena, where they must appease a crowd of elves, twisted from their mindless work in Santa's joyous workshops.
Fight your way through as many waves of enemies as you can either on your own or with a keyboard buddy, let the bodies pile up as your spectators throw all manner of weaponry and items to keep the entertainment going!
The game can be played by one or two players.

PLAYER 1 CONTROLS Cursor Arrows - Movement Return - Attack Backspace - Discard Weapon

Haha! This was fun. I like the idea of Santa's evil gladiator death pit. I agree with one of the other commenters that some more feedback on when you've landed a successful hit would be helpful.
And as much as I loved all the bodies on the floor it got a little visually confusing. Maybe a body zamboni could scoot through the stages? Lol.
I like a lot about this game, so I won't really go into it too much. Graphics, control, gameplay, enemies, HUD, feedback, and sound effects are all solid, and the whole game feels pretty polished or finished. I am a big fan of those beat em up co-op games like TMNT 2/3 and the Double Dragon games from NES. I am used to melee fighting guys by walking up to their "depth" on the screen, so I was resorting to melee as much as possible, especially that big spear/halberd looking thing. The snowballs were my least favorite because they seemed ineffective at times. The snowballs would pile up in front of the guy you hit, creating a barrier that prevented you from hitting him with more snowballs. Sometimes I wished I could throw the snowballs forwards and backwards instead of just sideways, since it would be easier to line up the shots that way, but I know that would create a bunch of extra work and complicate things.

The controls are somewhat interesting because of the 3d movement.

I was happy when I finally realized the snowmen were throwing carrots.
The graphic style is pretty cool, though you have to be carefull to keep the brightness of the sprites similar to that of the other elements.
The health bar is way to far up in the screen, and kind of tiny, so it's hard to look at it while you're playing.
It was really funny to see the corpses accumulating and leaving less and less space to move freely, it makes for a nice mechanic.
