The Goal: Make it through each level, attacking people you see with a baguette, and throwing bread rolls at them.
Frogs and Snails replenish health in different amounts, they are in chests which you can open by walking (or sliding, considering the lack of animation) into. You'll take damage if the random people get too close.
Made in Monogame, Paint.net for art. sfxr + lmms for sound effects and music. Ogmo for making levels.

The game is very simple, and that's a virtue in this case. It's all very pixel-artsy and chiptune-y, both very well implemented. A good entry, I like it.
The enemies are neither smart nor varied, which makes the game neither challenging nor particularly interesting. Music, graphics and mechanics fit well together. Slapping people with food items is always great. Well done.
Cute game! Lots of level content! :O To give one small critism, the vertical resolution was so low that if I sometimes walked straight into enemies before even noticing them xD But maybe im just have slow reaction speed.
Charming graphics and mood - a pity the music doesn't keep looping.
As for the controls, it might make them feel a bit smoother, if Freddy would move in the direction of the last direction key used. Currently, some movement keys "block" others, which can make the controls feel a bit unresponsive.
What's wrong with french people, je vous en prie! A classic shooter, you gain so much HP that there's a point when you don't care if enemies touches you. You can easily be lost in that maze, there's lots of rooms and stages. Definitely a good entry.
