This was my second finished Ludum Dare, and our team's first. It was really fun to make and I learnt a lot about developing games as a team.

Dominic (me) - Coding, Design, SFX, some of the art
Megan - Character animations
Adam - Music

INSTRUCTIONS:
Left arrow key to attack
Right arrow key to block
Up arrow key to parry

The heroes want to kill you to loot your the dungeon, you must kill them while blocking their attacks and parrying their magic to defend your treasure and your dignity.

We all worked really hard on this, we hope you enjoy it.

Game requires python and pygame to run on linux, run main.py file to play.

(also a huge shoutout to happy, who really helped motivate us and helped this game to exist)

Good music, well drawn and fun. It fits the theme well and had complex gameplay despite only using 3 buttons.

The designs are quite fun (especially the hero's), the battle system is quite good and I definitely would like to see a multiplayer version of this

Simple yet effective, a better indicator on the block and the magic parry would be cool. I am not sure how to restart the game. but yeah Good luck with future games. :D

The music is very nice!! What tool did you use for creating it?

I really like the simple combat system you have here. If you decide to develop it further afterwards, it could be interesting =) Great job!

Thanks for all the feedback so far!

The difficulty scaling felt appropriate, and the attacking/blocking mechanics were good and simple. Some sort of audio/visual feedback on a successful block would be cool, but what you already have is solid.

Oh, python game - rare one =)
Good, but could be better with hit animation and may be some particles.
