You play as a representation of a little child's fears, your goal is to scare him. The upper bar represents his level of fear, the lower bar is a sort of mana, monster power.
Tips:
1)Watch the cat, avoid his gaze.
2)The more the boy is scared, the faster your mana restores.
2)Low-level scares (I-II lv) don't have much effect when the boy is more scared.
I wanted this to be a compo submission but didn't manage to finish it on time. All the assets were made by me from scratch.
Pretty cool! Definitely made me want to keep playing to find out what happened at max fear. The kid looked completely terrified at the end and I felt kind of bad :p really fun though!
Took me a little while before I actually figured out what to do. After that, it took me 3 tries, but I finally won just in time. Cool visuals, and high marks for theme.
I was so clooose to 100% rrrr, I just want to play again ! You could had a darker atmoshpere later, like darker colors and stuff, but anyway I loved it.
Cool concept! This is the kinda thing I wanna see when the theme is "You are the monster." Also good design with the cat as a way of protecting the kid if you get caught. Great job!

Very creative! It's a really cool and fun concept indeed! Music helped a lot to build the "mood" and graphics were more than adequate for this type of game. It's really incredible that you managed to make this all by yourself for the jam!

Making the room a little darker would have improved the atmosphere greatly.
At first it was significantly darker but I didn't like it and removed the filter. It's not a horror game, after all.
