It seemed really hard to avoid getting hit, even with the shield. The enemies also seem to lob knives through walls and from offscreen. The theme is really cool though, and the chickens are adorable! Neat game overall c:
I really liked this! The idea of having all these little chicken minions and using them as an attack resource was really great. I also enjoyed the little story cards at the beginning, it was a nice touch. Great job!
Really nice work on graphics and music. The gameplay is working but it could use a little more polish to be really enjoyable. I found it quite hard as everything is moving so fast. I didn't understand when I was hit or what was the cooldowns on my attacks. The intro scene is really nice, and the overall mood is great. I really enjoyed where this was headed, but it was a little too hard to make it very far in. Feels like there might be some important animations missing to really understand cleary what is happening. Sometimes I felt like I was doing well and then the game over screen would show up. Definitely a lot of potential though.
I like the story and the cutscene. The gameplay is not that smooth. You don't have a lot of time to react and it's not obvious what attack is available. I'm guessing there's some kind of cooldown but I couldn't tell when a power was charged.
The lasers were like, BOOM and so was this game. Super fun! The intro story was very cool, and it set up the game nicely. I had trouble killing the green butcher guys, but I'm pretty sure it'd be easy with more time. Only issues were the graphics sometimes making the movements hard to see/understand, but honestly the attacks were amazing and it was a great game well done.
