Well, I wasn't considering to participate on Ludum Dare 33. I had some commitments this weekend and my previous idea for a game was too complex for the available time. BUT, yesterday (sunday) at night this new idea came to my mind. I had less than 24 hours to finish it, besides I had to work today (monday). So, my available time was pretty short, but the game would be pretty simple, so I decided to try it... and I couldn't make everything that I wanted hahaha but I could finish the main concept.
If you have already finished and you're thinking that it is stupid... yeah, it is :P Many years ago, I saw a flash game called "Quest for the Crown" ( http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/quest_for_the_crown ) and the first thing that I thought was "WHAAAT?", then I laughed a lot for a while. It is so stupid but so hilarous at the same time... at least to me hahaha. So, my entry is inpired on that game. In case you liked, try the post-jam version later.

Interesting use of webcam for the game. I would have liked the image to be a bit pixelated to work with the general style. And I'm not sure it needs to be longer, but maybe give the monster a health bar that the player has to hack down for a while. Monster still as passive as now. I liked the game.

@local minimum - Initially, I put a filter to make pixelated the webcam image, but I didn't like the result because I wanted pixels with the same proportion of pixelart graphics, and the player's face was too much pixelated. So, I felt that the webcam without pixelated filter looked less weird than having different pixel proportions. By the way, the text has a different pixel proportion, but using the same it looked awful. Anyway, I'll consider to put an option to activate the pixelated filter. I liked the health bar idea and I'll put on the post-jam version. However, I'll maintain the option of killing monster with just one hit hehehe. A sudden death makes it more stupid, and it's part of the idea based on the game that have inspired me. Thanks again for your feedback :)
Made me giggle :) would have been nice to see the idea getting real.There is something there that was telling me "yeah it would have been good if there was more!" It is polished but lacks a bit of gameplay, so i'm sure you could have done more! :) looking forward.
Liked the use of the webcam, was a nice touch to go with the theme. Wish you'd had more time to fill it out more but can understand with the last minute decision that was hard to do. Funny entry.
