War Games meets The Matrix

As the sole but mortally wounded survivor on a scouting mission you have been placed in a virtual simulation. Your goal is to piece your own memories together before you die into viable strategies that can be used against the synthetics. Something doesn't seem right though...

Input : Mouse

My own thoughts on the game:

Normally I go for very mechanics focused games so doing one that tries to tell a story and even one where the game is essentially lying to you was a bit of a challenge. I had a lot of fun coming up with the text for the game and also putting in all the glitches that appears as you play. Playtesting revealed that it needed to be clearer what was actually going on so I ended up relying more on the info box than I initially had planned. I also think there should have been a lot more glitches towards the end of the game!

Amazing, a really polished game! The only problem I got was after "finishing"? it. The web got redirected to your twitter account, but with a malformed URL. I couldn't see the ending because of that :(

Amazing Game! Really well done and polished. Great use of the theme. on occasion the "feild" in which the simulation took would glitch out and slide around though. actually, im not sure if that intensional or not. i know on one level they ended up overlapping, and it looked pretty sloppy though.

@Blobo that was on purpose but on the two island level it does look a bit weird. Decided to leave it in though since it took a surprising amount of effort to make the whole thing look glitchy enough

Love the stylized interface, and the way the story gets darker as it goes along.

Great game really enjoyed playing this one. But not a clue about the narrative.

I actually like how the UI's glitchy effects starts revealing that something's definitely not right as you progress through the game.

The mechanism is solid. I love the details indicating the instability of system. Really nice game.

Really liked how the program broke down over time. Not completely sure what happened story wise :)
