Theme: Two-button
Well, this was my first time ever using Unity - I usually go with Love2D for game jams. It was certainly a good learning experience, though. Some things are much easier, at the expensive of other things being more cumbersome. I haven't quite decided if Unity is better or not for quick things, but I imagine with more experience it could be.
This game is short, and kind of unfinished, but it does have three distinct areas, and goes from 2D to 3D. I tried to go for a glowing 80s vector graphic style visuals, which turned out...strange. Hope you enjoy :)
