Quad Flingers is a 2D top-down local 2-player shooter, where you each play as n-sided regular polygons which are capable of flinging quads. The aim of the game is for you to CRUSH your opponent. In order to achieve this, just fling quads at them until they die.
To be able to fling quads, you need to collect the various yellow quads scattered across the map, these also double up as your health. The number of sides you have indicates both your health and available ammo. Be careful however, as once you collapse to a 1 dimensional peasant (less than 3 sides), you will lose the game.
In addition to the quads scattered across the environment, there are also various powerups to improve damage, speed, and rotation rate. You can use these to improve yourself.

So I want to first say good job on your first LD! In the future, you might want to avoid games that are only 2-player as it isn't always easy to judge a game when only 1 player is able to test it. Not all of us have the ability to ask somebody to test it out right away and the likelihood of somebody coming back to look later is probably not good.
That said, I tested it out with just me playing to get a feel of controls and such, I thought it played smoothly. Graphics had that vector style I like from old Atari games. Sound was good too, even if you didn't make them they were good choices. I like the idea a lot and wish I had somebody around to play with to test it better. A simple AI would have go a long way but I understand time restraints all too well :)
Wow that's a really cool idea, like really, that idea is cool damn thats a cool idea like that idea is really cool. Pretty good visuals and its really fun. If the game was a bit more polished up, it would be amazing! But still very innovate and pretty well made!
