Cataplague is a catapult game where your main ammo is the plague-infested corpses of your own people. The goal is to kill all of the enemy player's peasants before your own peasants die. Corpses can also be burned to earn powerful special ammo that destroys the living and dead alike, preventing your enemy from using his dead against you.
It's meant to be played in about 2 minutes, and it will change over time to speed things along. If you're having trouble killing the last few peasants, just wait a few seconds and you'll start getting special ammo for free.
The sprites are a bit messed up on the web build so I encourage you to try the desktop build instead. Also, the win conditions don't always work right. Also the AI cleans up his corpses instantly so he's much better at preventing the plague from spreading. Oops!
Here's a video of me playing in case you find it confusing: http://youtu.be/DSYJ6SSLWtI
Here's a link to a higher-res web build: http://picklenerd.com/unity/cataplague/1080/
This is my third Ludum Dare and I'd love to say something inspiring but I'm just going to go to bed instead. I hope you enjoy my game!
