There is no way in game to free the mouse.

On windows, use the windows key.

And I don't know about mac and linux.

LARGE NOTE, IN LARGE FONT!!!

- This 'game' is not finished. In fact it is not near finished.

The concept for the game was to sail around fighting (using, you guessed it, ancient technologys that we no longer know existed)

in a roman arena filled with water, filled, obviously, by ancient technologys.

Although, this was not a futile exersise.

I learn't a lot about openGL and game dev in general.

This is also one of my first (solo) times developing a 3D game.

Upon loading press enter/return when you are ready to start.

CONTROLS

L - lock camera in position,

Mouse - look arond,

W/S/A/D - move camera,

Shift - move camera down

Space - move camera up

Up arrow - move boat forward

Left/Right arrow - rotate boat

Q - Fire cannon

And yes I agree, the arena should have been bigger.
