Shadows is an action platformer with mouse based controls.

You're playing as a shadow mage and your objective is to kill everyone else in the room. You can switch between human and shadow form, jump on walls, fly around the map, and cast deadly spells that kill in one shot.

Really cool game mechanics and it's a somewhat challenging game, which is a good thing! Also, it's fun.
The negative side would be the graphics, but then it is also the positive side because the game has a simple abstract style (and this is a ludum dare game so nobody expects amazing graphics).

nice game. the camera felt a bit too close, but overall, nice. although, a slightly different controls would do nicely

Flying around in Shadowform is awesome. The little alcoves can be challenging to clear out. The particle effects are perfect and the game fits in really well with the theme.

Animations are great and it is very innovative platformer I also like the sleek tutorial texts. I like also the minimalistic graphics. Good luck.

Cool idea. The creepy whispering really set the mood, I wasn't expecting that. Very challenging. My only suggestions would be to 1) add a brief period of invulnerability after being hit in the shadow state (several times i was hit, fell onto the enemy, and insta-died), and to maybe find some reason to be in the non-shadow state (there's not much reason to now since you can't attack and movement is harder). Great work!

Nice game. I really like the shadow from aesthetics ! However, there is no reason not to be in shadow form.
