The Kendy murder

Well... At first I was honestly pretty excited but the game just feels too raw. In fact I think it's just barely playable right now so I would suggest you to playtest it more and maybe make it feel at least a bit more comfortable. Other than that... Don't lose hope and do what you want to do! c:

Oh oh, when I was trying to understand the controls I accused *someone* by accident and I won x) Otherwise, it's an interesting game, too bad it has few elements to analyse. Not bad for a first jam, good job !

this is a good start, but I agree that it feels too unfinished to really test. I wished there was some more feedback when looking at evidence or talking to suspects.
But I like the premise, would be good to see when you finish it.

The game is bugged. When you go up the stairs, you can't return. :(

Other than that, it isn't bad for your first game. The biggest issue with doing games like this for a jam is that you need to spent a huge amount of time on writing a story/dialogues - a time that could be spent more on game mechanics and polishing controls/graphics. Which is even more visible when you are not experience enough, because even the basic mechanics will take you longer than you'd hoped.

Next time try to do something without a story, and I'm sure you'll do better! ;)

Visually, the game's ok. But it's still very raw as a game.

First thing I did in the game was opening the suspects window, but I didn't know how to get out of it so I could explore. So when I restarted and started clicking around, I found about the spacebar use for this.

I wouldn't say it's terrible, it lacks polish. The idea's good, the concept's good too.

The murder mystery is a good concept with regard to the theme; I think the other posts covered the main issues I had.
