Afterall
The universe is dying. Take out some planets before the last star burns out. Planets are hard to find but you'll know when you find one. Score appears in window title at game over. Collision with stars, planets, and planet debris causes death.

At first I believed the starfield is just that, but it's actually many small planets. It's hard to hit them though, but I managed it anyways. I know space is kinda quiet but it still could use more audio.
Hope you keep working on your concept though, if instead of planets you were trying to take out aliens which were causing the stars to disappear it could be an interesting time pressure mechanism.
