Hopeless Space

Controls are little funky and no audio being there kinds of kills the mood, but overall, I had fun with it :)

A bit hard to aim without any crosshair. And yeah, the lack of audio is disturbing :(

Otherwise, it's ok, pretty fun even if it gets repetitive. Good job anyway for making a fun 3d game! :)

(Plus I got the highest score, hehe)

Good little space shooter, had a lot of fun with it. My only suggestions would be to have some feedback as to when you are hitting your target (they turn white for a moment) and that your velocity left and right needs sorting out. Got odd behaviour when holding down forward and then a side direction.

Some iffy controls, but other than that it was a nice game. Would have liked there to be some indication of when I was hitting the enemies. Particle effects or something.

This space shooter is a little barebones you could add some other enemies/levels to give it a little more variety, I liked the idea of limited energy for the shooting and once I got the controls down I could move the ship with ease, the only bad side to the controls is that if an enemy is to near to the ship it will become too difficult to control. It lacked some polish as the others have said.

What I liked:

- the graphics are quite good, actually

- controls

- difficulty

What would make me like the game even more:

- sound

- music

- if the enemies were more spread out (they tend to sit on your behind and it's very hard to maneuver to shoot them)

I liked to endless space thingy but it felt a bit like you could not really do anything special to survive for a long time. Was there any armor drops or is it impossible to gain armor? Also the leader bord did not load for me which was sad :(

I'm not a fan of the controls. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but without having the mouse stuck in the center really made rotating difficult. Also, the lack of any audio really takes you out of the experience. If these two things were fixed, I believe this game would be a great and fun game to play.

The leaderboards do not work for me.

Other than that, the game was nice, although as other said, no audio and weird controls kinda kill the experience.

Okay, I was having *real* big problems with this one. For one thing, having my spaceship flip over seemingly at random disoriented me quite a bit and I didn't really get to a point where I could regain some of my power. The enemies liked to pile up on top of me (see pic) and aiming was a big issue, as without a reticle I wasted good energy to see just where I was aiming at. 360 DOF is very tricky because controls and navigation are a real pain and programming-wise avoiding gimbal-lock situations can be equally tricky. But that aside I liked the models and the feeling of freedom and also the particle effects were nice, having a global leaderboard is also a nice feature for a jam game :)

Wow, that's quite hard to handle but it's very nice to have a real 3D space shooter!

It is very complicated to play on the touch pad..

Its very fun, very unique game type i have seen made in this jam. Good job!

Great job on the graphics, it has a starfox feel to it, but the controls, oh man those needed more time in the oven. I never felt like I could aim at the enemies properly. I was fine just chasing after power orbs, but once I had to fight, it was all over.
