Objective Collect as much as as possible. The game gets faster the more you collect. Also your wanted level increases the more cash you get. When your wanted level increases by a full star a multiplier is added to your cash so the next time you pick some up you actually pick up more than normal. (e.g. 1 star gives you x2 multiplier so the cash you pick up is doubled)
Nice game. A bit confused as to how this relates to the more you have the worse it is. I dont know if the game gets harder the more money you have, probably I was just bad:)
Good for a Jam, amazing for 24 hours. The graphics are quite nice and the gameplay is fun. I'd like jump to be W instead of S, it feels more natural that way. Also, I felt like collision with the cars is way too easy.
I really enjoyed the game but the fact that you die if you hit a police car after you passed it made me kinda rage quit. If you polish this game up you could release this for mobile for sure. Just add some music and don't make us die if you hit anything once.
Good graphics, the render of the street is very good with some details and light effect. It was a little challenging to learn the timing to jump but after that the gameplay becomes too repetitive.
Nice game as is done in less than one day. The scene is clean and the animation is good. Very focused. The rythme is also comfortable. Just one thing, what does the multiplier mean on the bottom right corner? I didn't get that.
For a game done in under 24h its quite impressive. I cant really see the theme implementation.
Played for a while and it just seemed to be another endless runner as the other half million that exist. I would try to find something that makes it different to the rest.
@yishalee The multiplier increases the amount of money you get when you pick up the cash. So if you have x5 then you get 50 cash instead of just 10. @dawik9000@Raphael the game increases in difficulty the more cash you collect. (It gets faster and more obstacles appear)
Nothing much to say other than what the other commenters have said. When we reach the higher starred levels it felt like the boxes were laid unfairly (though I guess they can be navigated by moving mid-air). And maybe a losing animation would have been a nice touch.
Really good, this would work very well on mobile devices!
I really like the graphics, and the sound is good, too. The idea is simple, but it works and it's fun.
There are some things you could improve, though: Like others said, losing beacause of colliding with the side of an obstacle you have already successfully dodged feels a little unfair. The jumping is ok, but it could feel more natural. Right now it feels inbetween optimal for gameplay and physically accurate, and I think you should go for one of those.
But I really enjoyed playing it. Impressive for just 24 hours of work! :)
Pretty cool auto runner game. I liked the minimalistic artstyle and the police cars and sounds built up a quite tense atmosphere. The collision boxes felt a bit weird sometimes, as I couldn't always see why a box or car hit me. Good Work overall.
Nice game, made it through 5 stars but then got catched, does the game end if you have 5 stars and a certain amount of cash? Or is 5 stars just the maximum speed?
Nice game, especially for the time you had! The idea, animations and the feel of the game is all quite good given the constraints you were under. I really didn't feel how this connected to the theme though. I understand that maybe you move faster when you have more stars, but that doesn't really make much sense. Also, the collisions on the player were quite unsatisfying. I would lose but not be anywhere near a block! You may not have had time for skeletal collisions, but maybe you could have made the hitboxes just a little smaller. Great job though, I had a ton of fun playing.
It's rather hard to get the idea and finish one in only 24 hours. Seems a little off the theme. It's a bit too hard when I have 5 stars. But it's complete, that's better than many others already.
Classic endless runner game with an interesting setting. Side-to-side movement in these games is usually locked to 3 lanes, so this was unusual, especially because there were 3 lanes of items on the road. Jumping was a little bit too sluggish. Definitely good for a game made in under 24 hours. There is potential to expand onto mobile platforms if you polish up the movement and flesh it out a little bit more. Good work.
Funny game, I would have change the jump key to "W" or "Space" cause this is the standard in most games, but other than that it's a solid entry. Keep it up!
I kept falling, and falling, and falling. I know it aint easy... and I can see several things you were able to do in Unity that was really inspiring (camera movements). Congrats!
Quick and fun to play
Maybe a bit annoyed by the controls, S to jump doesn't sounds really convenient
