Do you like eating? We do. Do you like bratwurst? We do. Prove your love by eating as much as you can before things get too uncomfortable. Don’t worry, we’ll keep score, just like any other competitive eating contest.
In this game, you will eat bratwurst (and celery as a change-of-pace food) as fast as you can. Each piece of food you eat will raise your energy AND score you one point. When you swallow the food, it moves over to your stomach, where you must use our patented Tummy Gun to shoot the brats and keep them from falling into your stomach acid. This is bad, as it triggers your acid reflux and causes the stomach acid to rise. Fortunately, if you allow a piece of celery to fall into the acid, the acid level will drop (veggies are good for you).
Don’t let your energy drop down too low or your stomach acid to rise too high or you will have a bad time (and it’s game over). But don’t eat too fast, as it can be hard to deal with too many brats at once.

A funny idea and neat graphics, I like the cartoon-ish character style. Gameplay could be tweaked a bit, I felt I was bashing mouse1 and spacebar just all the time. Maybe a slower build-up, so losing less energy in the beginning would be nice, or shoot in bursts of more than one bullet.
I liked the art best, it was really fancy, but the game play could be tweaked a little. I felt it was a little to hard to smash those bratwurst and keep an eye on the meter at the same time. Also i love the pun in the title. Great work!
The game over/life mechanic is really well done. I just feel like the shooting part lacks a bit of juice (no pun intended) and feels a bit slow. Which is too bad since it's the main gameplay mechanic. Nothing dramatic tho but with such a funny theme you could turn the firing to 11.

As straightforward as it is, this was pretty fun! The graphics were great too :) I agree with the above though about perhaps a slower difficulty ramp or a bit faster shooting, but otherwise very well done!
@rakart Yeah, went back and forth a lot on the rate of fire. It got incredibly easy if we got it too high. My guess is that I overtuned that based on initial feedback (totally my fault there, no blame to teammates). Thanks for the comment!
Very neat! Love all the attention to detail in the graphics -- the wurst package title, and the swooshy eating animations are great. The gameplay is fun for the most part, though I do feel the gun could be faster. It does feel satisfying to break the wursts apart while slamming space bar! Good work, all of you!
Really great. Love how food gets stuck on the sides sometimes. Everything about this game is so gross, but genius. Good mechanics, innovative game design, good graphics on the stomache elements, and great sound. Only gripe is that fullscreen would be appreciated, I kept clicking outside of the window by accident.

As for the music, I'm not very convinced, there is little relation between the theme and the sound. And even if the "gore"/"disgusting" aspect of the sound-design works, the music isn't going in the same direction, so not really working :-/ Maybe you could do something with farting sounds or something ? x) or other disgusting "instruments" ? And the more acid there is the stomach, the more farting melodies there are ? Could be in the theme :-) just saying ! I wouldn't say it's the wurst. It was pretty good. The celery was a nice touch to balance out the difficultly. I didn't constantly feel doomed. Graphics were lovely. Liked the sketched character. Appreciate the pun. Some food did get stuck on the walls of the stomach. That was the only real quality issue I encountered. Great work overall!
Quick, simple, and to-the-point. The graphics are great, the music and sound effects are well done, and generally the game presents itself very well. My only issue was that it was very easy to accidentally click off-screen (and lose because of it), so a full-screen option would have been nice.
Lots of fun! The edge of the screen was too close though. Sometimes when I wanted to shoot wurst close to the right, it would click out of the game and I had to click back - not good when you go for the points :P

In my opinion it would be a lot more fun if it was point click shooter, but that's just me, I respect your decision. Congratulations!
