You're an escaped clone that is forced to fight mutated test subjects. You may have been saved from their fate, but how long can you survive them? Use BOOSTER SHOTS to increase your power, but be warned... There is no limit to the amount of power these can give you. Taking too many may prove to be overwhelming!
Great fun shooting all those mutants and I loved the effects of the mutations (one point I think I was a pixel on a screen..)
Only criticism would be audio is abit samey here and there and whether or not the out of bounds glitch was a feature or a bug I'm not too sure.. :thinking:
I liked the game overall, some points of critique: - there is a bug if you pickup a booster it zooms you out till the point the screen is just black - the gun doesn't "feel" very powerfull, this is mostly due to the fact you can just hold down the shoot button, it takes multiple hits to kill any form of enemy and the sound doesn't feel very gun like.
- The camera was also very zoomed in so its hard to see enemies coming before they hit you, which feels kinda unfair.
I think that the zoom out need to be restricted and also give cooldown to return it back to normal. Other than that, the game is overall amazing! The graphics are really good and the game is really fun to play!
Great implementation of the theme! I like how upgrades that are beneficial at first lead to your eventual demise. The game stopped for me when it zoomed out so far, the whole screen was black. I could still shoot, but didn't lose health anymore. Do enemies still spawn at that point? Also, personally I find the gun sound rather annoying. But overall it's a really fun game! The cartoony graphics are cool, too.
So much fun to play. I was not sure what each booster was achieving. One seemed to zoom out and at some point I just couldn't see hahaha. High pace enjoyable game. Congrats!
Nice. I enjoyed it a lot. I didn't understand that taking the shots makes them increase in numbers till later (I am not even sure right now). And for some reason, I can get into the wall. I also like that the camera zooms out near the end. Overall, it is really fun.
Really fun right away. I couldn't seem to fullscreen it, and seemed to click off screen too often. Still super fun and would recommend to people based on gameplay.
Fun shooter game. I'm not entirely sure what effects the different color syringes had, but I liked that as the game went on things went much crazier with the field of view, and speed, and number of enemies and everything. I did end up shooting myself out of the level repeatedly once I got whatever power had my gun giving me knockback, thought at first I was able to still walk my way back. It would have been nice to see some weapon and level variation, since it was just the one gun and square room. Overall, though, a pretty cool take on the theme, and nice execution.
"KEEP SHOOTING DON'T STOP SHOOTING UNLESS YOU GET SHOT OUT OF THE ROOM" - Me laughing my ass off as I shot into the void. Great fun little game, I would have kept playing until I got shot out, more levels and music would elevate this game.
The game was really fun, as long as it lasted, which was not long because the room I was in disappeared. I get that that's because of the boosters I collected but making the whole screen black is an unfair punishment (also I didn't die then for some reason). I also liked the graphics while I saw them and the music was cool.
The gameplay loop and the audio get a wee bit repetitive, but it has some jolly nice graphics. I also really like how the power-ups are essential at first, but can quickly make the game impossible. Quality interpretation of the theme and a fine game all round!
