The Catnip Sniper

This game is amazing! Very clever use of the theme, loads of fun to play, looks and sounds great. Me and a friend played it together and we couldn't stop laughing. Easy 5/5.

Never before have I thought of shooting a cat with a catnip gun, but I thought this was a really fun change from the more typical room survival games. Also I am awful at it, it is super hard. Great job

I love this game! The only thing that would improve is the increase in difficulty, I would do it more slowly to make the games a little longer

Well, I love everything. The art is very cute, I love the cat animations, really. The gameplay is just fun and it seems very polished and challenging. The music is catchy (pun intended). And well, cats and catnip, thats a thumbs up.

@skullpixel I just managed to score 32 after some tries. The game is great, really. Maybe a online highscore would improve it, just to make it more competitive

Cute game, and I like that it doesn't make the mistake of starting out too easy. However, maybe the cats with guns could be introduced a bit later on as part of the difficulty increase? Maybe the non-crazy cats could pick up the fallen guns, unless you walk over them to pick them up? Anyway, was pretty fun! I managed a 22.

This is a great game. I love the feeling of playing this game. The mixture of the music, pixel art, and camera shake just feel incredibly satisfying. The use of the theme is perfect as well.

@x-budsterized_x I usually focus on hitting the gun-cats first, and make sure to toss the toy/flare into a place where I can easily swing back through and pick it up again later.

Very cool idea and concept. Well executed, once you get the hang on how the cats move the game becomes much more addictive. Trying to shut the doors have perfect risk vs reward. great job

I'm impressed by the art, concept and gameplay! Such a brilliant and yet simple idea. LOVED IT! The only thing to mention is: it took me 3 times to figure out how the questlog worked. I thought of dragging it down or clicking it, but failed (obviously xD)
For all those who don't know: The log shows the bunny you have to create! After I figured that out the game worked pretty well for me :) So damn cute and amazing. Such a great job, guys!

This is two inches from being a really outstanding game, but I found that death was just too random and unpredictable to enjoy myself. Music is tops, however.

I liked it and i love the fact that you see the cats go nuts with the catnip even with the tiny sprites, it's well done visually, the music is nice and chill, the controls felt tight, the spawnrate + avoiding the cats gone crazy is kind of hard though.

other than that i didn't see any particular issues with the game, points for humour !

Looks and feels amazing, seemed to be inspired by enter the gungeon. Is a blast to play and has interesting mechanics. Top notch.

Very cute and plays well! Solid art and audio, I was a little confused though as to the overall goal of the game - was the counter at the end how many cats I angered? I wasn't really sure what I was playing towards the whole time - closing the doors, or shooting lots of cats, or just staying alive as long as possible? I think some more UI feedback on this end could have been helpful. Love the small details like the screenshake, and the angry cats rolling is adorable!

insanely cute, fun, nice music, loved the little 'meow' sound effect. Maybe a touch hard, i couldn't get past 10, as someone else said an online high score would have been a nice feature.
