Goal is to travel the longest possible distance. That can be done by going as fast as possible until song ends.

You can speed up your car by correctly hitting arrows when they are in desired area. Controls are WASD, Arrow Keys or even gamepad joystick.

When you miss arrow or hit wrong key, you lost bonus to streak and risk slowing down your car!

You can choose predefined song or any other song in _.ogg_ or _.wav_ format. You add your song by putting it into:

___/Nautilus Studios/Bass Racer/UserSongs___

_(inside of wherever your OS stores application
data, Windows: appdata and Mac OS: application support)_

About 3 million points with the middle difficulty. The game is cool, that is a nice rhythm game, but not a racing game at all ... We just have to play to the rhythm game without carying about the car or the race. Do you understand ? The game is cool but the theme is not respected in my opinion. I like the art though and the music is well made.

(and me too, the button from the end screen does not work)

The back to menu button doesn't work and the racing part isn't really relevant in the game. Neat DDR clone though, even if the notes aren't synced up to the song.

Reminds me of Double Kick Heroes. I thought that the coherence between rythm and gameplay wasn't very tight.

WebGL didn't work for me (the arrows didn't show up), so I downloaded it. Then it worked. Liked the idea, but it would push the mood if you had to press in the rhythm of the song!

The Music and rhyme are cool.
The game itself is cool, but it is lacking another genre. Animating the car in the background probably won't do it. Maybe add some car dodging mechanic would work better?
Btw, WebGL version doesn't have the arrows for me(using Google Chrome).

Weg version doesn't display the arrows but the executable yes.

Some improvements i can see:
- align arrows with car in order to allow the player to see both (i was unable to llonk at the car because i was focuesd on the top of the screen where there are only the arrows. That makes the art useless :(
- make the car reacts to players inputs

Could use a little work in incorporating the theme. Maybe spawn something in each lane and pressing the space bar switches lanes? Also if you go far enough apparently the music and rhythm stop
