Really liked the graphics. Would have been nice if there was some sort of pull effect on the cat toward the black hole. (and audio as others have mentioned). The bathtub was a nice addition.
Interesting idea. Sometimes the game would present me with a "game over", even I was nowhere near the "black hole" or the edge of the screen. Also please mention that you ought to collect your goodies for points. Sound would be really helpful, I fully agree here.
my hi score was 3 -- what a fun game - loved the small touches like the bath and washing machine - the controls could be a little tighter and it would have been neat to have his suit rotate instead of staying in the same direction - nice work
Graphic is great. I really love it. However controls are very ...lazy? I think this could be related to not so "action oriented" input handler in Craftyjs. And blackhole definitely should "suck" player :)
The art was really great! I think it would help to animate the main character as having them static makes it a little lifeless. Also I think sfx and music would help make the game more immersive. Then as other people said the controls could be tighter, and there seem to be some problems with collision detection. A minor thing is if you don't immediately press space after pressing play there is no way to start the game as clicking out of the frame and back in doesn't give focus to the game. All in all though nice work, particularly on the graphics :smile:
TO be honest I found this game to be a bit boring. The graphics were nice but for some reason I wasn't really invested. Maybe the sounds would help there.
Sure, sounds would be nice, but ya do whatcha can in LD Jam. The graphics are very attractive, and I liked the gameplay. I didn't have a problem with laggy controls-- I thought inertia was to blame. I agree that some gravitational pull on the pup would be nice. I also enjoyed the bathtub. (I didn't live long enough to see a washing machine.) Congratulations!
The graphics in this game are gorgeous! Love the color palette. But I think later at some point you'll need to invest some time in particles and effects because I will take your games to another level. Great take on the theme and averall a good experience. Can't rate this game in mood and humor much because I really miss the music. But good job, man!
