About

At first I was going for a "Keep the bottle from filling up by pushing everything away" game, but I realized it was way more nuanced if the player had to let some things get through and push away others, so the final game doesn't really fit much the jam theme.

I'm still very happy since this is my first game with some online functionality, which took me most Sunday but in my opinion was well worth it.

Very good! It captures the old Gameboy feeling perfectly, but looks great at the same time. A catchy 8-Bit soundtrack would make the game even more addictive, I think. Overall my favourite game so far!

Great entry! Smacking the orbs around is very satisfying, and the combo effect is killer. Online leaderboards are always a treat, although I don't think I have a chance to get on there, let alone stick around long. Good stuff!

This is the best one I've played today. Very solid arcade concept, and I love the Gameboy vibe.
Once you get your combo high enough, you can just wave the mouse back and forth really fast at the top of the screen, and this usually keeps everything from getting near your bottle while you still rack up points. Maybe if the multiplier slowly decayed if balls are rejected?

The intensity of the game held my breath for the entirety of the match and my eyes were scan all over for the skulls. great arcade game.

I'm on chrome. It shows me the unity logo, then a green screen, then a black one. It seems that the game is fully functional, I just can't see anything that's going on... Tried it on edge and it works though!

Very fun! Perfect addicting arcade gameplay! Hit a high score of 1998, it gets so chaotic!

Not sure the Game Boy graphics added much, only made it harder to see some times. In full color would have been fine.

Overall great work though!

This was fun! These short, simple games are really a great product to come out of the game jams and the inclusion of an online leaderboard is very cool. I was really happy that I achieved 1000 points after a couple of attempts, but looking at the leaderboards makes me feel very bad :smile:

The music loop is a little short, but I wouldn't have muted it by default. It has a certain charm to it. This is a great complete package.

Well executed entry! I think the idea was very simple but the randomness of both the falling and the physics interactions made me want to continue to play it despite the simplicity. It was polished in almost all aspects from graphics to the menus and especially the inclusion of an online leaderboard. I think with a soundtrack and some more mechanics and balance tweaking this could work even as a commercial game on mobile. Good work!

The simple concept, combined with a distinct look and feel make for a very entertaining game. There isn't much depth, but the game moves on so fast that it hardly matters - you just want to take another shot at getting a good score.

This game is perfectly simple and short! The gameplay loop is fast, physics based fun and is very easy to pick up and put down. The art is clean and easy to parse with the perfect amount of polish.

Great game! Very simple idea, but very addictive. The stacking multipliers make it very satisfying to keep a streak going. I didn't understand how it fit the theme at first, but after getting a high enough multiplier I realized that it fits the theme pretty well.

The controls are also very smooth. Excellent work!

Very addicting game! I really love the graphics and animations! Keeping the combo going is both stressful and exciting at the same time. My only gripe is that the sound effect for the score increasing is a bit hard on the ears when it goes very quickly, but other than that this is a fantastic game! Great job!

I liked the game but sometimes it seemed a little but 'unfair' because spawned like 5 skulls in a row and it was so difficult (for me at least) to throw them out. Anyway its a great entry, good job :smile:

This is incredibly fun! It didn't need the gameboy visual effects but it adds an aesthetic to it. Great job on getting online score leaderboards in as well! Shame there wasn't an music to go along with it.

Very addictive, it's got the 'one more go' appeal for sure! I really like the graphics, physics and sfx. I think the multiplier was an excellent idea - kept me trying for a massive streak (only managed 1500 point though..). I liked the music (I'd always have it playing as default with the option to turn off) it adds to the feel (true it could've been longer but it was cool). Great game, lots of fun to play, well done!

Awesome! Not sure how someone reached 96000 points!?! I got to around 500.... I'm gonna go try for the 1000 mark now. My only complaint is the lack of music, it would've been nice for the music to tie in dynamically with the point multiplier. Lots of potential there for that. Graphics and FX tie in very well.job well done!

One of those games where just one or two tries are just not enough! Excelent job. You have diverted from the theme a little, but you already know that, and if you have learned to implement something new and what you wanted, I believe that the jam did a good job as well. You did really great job!

Loved the graphics, and the physics worked quite well, making it satisfying to bop the toxins out of the way. I actually got the "running out of space" feeling as the sky was filling with balls, making it harder to knock away the bad ones. Really, the only complaint aside from the simplicity of the game is the score sound getting a little annoying as it speeds up too fast. Fun overall, I enjoyed it!
