Land-itz! is a local multiplayer land possession game. The aim of the game is to control the majority of the game tiles. The game ends when one player controls more than half the tiles on the board.

This game was developed as a Jam entry for Ludum Dare 42. The theme of this jam was 'Running Out Of Space'. As you will quickly discover, this game has been put together quite haphazardly by two people relatively new to the game development scene (in other words, idiots). We intend to update this game after the submission period ends, as we have: a) not implemented three of the core mechanics we came up with at the start of the jam, b) have an almost finished character selection system complete, c) have UI pieces just waiting to be added in, d) have no sounds in the game except a test sound which plays on loop unless you turn the volume off , e) the victory condition was implemented *completely* wrong, and finally, f) the game is *absolutely* *riddled* with bugs. Like, there is more bug than game, it's just ridiculous.

Now, after that description, don't you just want to jump in and try this newfangled videoscreen game? No? Why should you bother, you say? Well, there's a very good reason for that, and we'll explain it after you play it. So go play it. Please. We're begging you.!
