cool game, I liked the concept, and was easy to play in html, well done, seemed simple, and it went on for quite some time, I could never make it to the end, but looks good
Sadly it's lacking some kind of avoidance mechanic. After retrying a bit (dying without finding a sacrifice) i got the mood and was sacrificing many for the god.Then I tried to get sacrificed - sadly they could not. The just got sacrificed by me, even if they hit me in the back. There was a place at the pillar, it seemed like I could stand there forever. An endless stream of blood came to bump into me - not even trying to evade or sacrifice me...
Oh - and the movement left or right, with the camera moving too, wasn't smooth and felt strange.
This felt a bit like the game I did. Nice take on the theme, I think making the main character faster it would be a bit more pleasing. Well done @konh!
Pretty good game. Some sort of sound effect sound have added a lot I think, and it feels like there's a delay when trying to turn (that might just be the HTML verson idk). But overall still a very nice game :)
So much blood in the end! I like how the blood cubes stay, making the field really ... well bloody in the end. Also, the nosferatu-shaped enemies often tried to chat with one another, making it easy to kill them (I think it is a pathfinding bug, but I found it positive for the gameplay). The only minor issue I have is the balance, the game feels a bit too easy. In the end I managed to kill 45 enemies for 508 blood in 186, and only died because I wrote this review ;-) But better make a game too easy for a gamejam than too hard, so I guess it is ok. Nice entry!
Good concept! It is very straightforward which is good IMHO. The graphics are nice, and the camera movement (while choppy) is fun. Too bad the difficulty doesn't increase, and that there is nothing much else to do (upgrades, or a special move or something). Overall very well done!
I had to restart the first time because the controllers didn't work. The game is fun, I like how you designed your characters in a minimalistic way. The movement is very slow, wich I presume is a total part of the gameplay but is a bit annoying. The game itself is satisfying, probably because of its simplicity and the way the characters are exploding in particles - I also like how the floor, after some time, is filled with blood squares. I would have liked some challenge, the only score bar is frustrating and isn't enough to call it a game to me. Good starting anyway!

There doesn't seem to be a way to actually finish the game which is quite frustrating, but it's a good start!
