Haha, what a game. I got a good little chuckle out of Abraham Lincoin haha.
Quite a short game, and it was quite hard to gauge the lollipops hit box, but otherwise quite fun.

Oh god this is so silly it's awesome, the puns are so PAYnful. I did find punching awkward and it's hard to tell what your current health is but this was a fun playthrough.

I missed some more feedback for the combat and got stuck in some secret rooms because an enemy pursued me, but great work overall.

I found it odd to hit the lollypops at the base instead of the huge pink target like area... but it worked ok when I figured that out :) Nice entry!

It would be nice though, if you would get some visual feedback when you get hit apart from losing coins.

I liked the movement mechanics and felt like the combat system was a bit too laggy, but the mood works great, and i like the idea of using a vendor machine as a source of inspiration for level design. Good job, i'll take a look at your other games : )

Wow, I won. I think it would be really hard to beat all of the enemies. Although, very unique and interesting view on the theme, I think I didn't see something like that. Intro scene is also introducing player to the game's world nicely. Good job!

I had a good laugh with this! Didn't read all the instructions at first and didn't know I could dodge. Loved the enemies and the animation. Great game and funny story!

I LOVE the voice acting even if it invaded my ears' personal space (I had high volume XD). The story is good and the puns are painful as they should be, but why should a dolphin be into a vending machine? lol also he looks really reeeeeally evil (dolphins are bad people). Anyway, this is one of the best entries I saw in these days, congrats and good luck ^^

I love the humor and the intro, it was totally unexpected. Press A for Abraham!!! I got all polished up, but it took 25 pennies multiple times i think. Shiny and new, i battled all foes. I fondly remember the candy dispenser that creamed i'll never get past him, while i was running past him. You need to improve on the combat though, i was never quite sure if i hit an enemy or if he hit me, i only judged by looking at the penny meter. Love the humor!

I wish the hit boxes were a little more precise, but that was more than made up for with this game's sense of humor and clever art style. :) Well done!

I'm sure you're already aware of some of the hitbox issues and weird animations and teleporting. Stuff like that is bound to happen in game jams. What I would have liked to see is a health bar on the enemies (and maybe player as well, because the coin number at the bottom left is quite far away from the rest of the action). Also, some other clear visual feedback when I take damage would be nice. Character blinking, changing animation, coins flying out of the character, etc. The key here is player feedback. It has to be clear to the player when he takes and deals damage.

Another thing is that the enemies were sometimes hidden behind the wall. Consider making the walls a bit smaller.

Other than that, really cool game. The idea is hilarious, and I think it's generally quite well executed. Good job, and good luck next jam! :)

The literal interpretation of the theme for this one is pretty great. Loved the 8bit tune at the beginning when Abe was announced. I would have preferred more user feedback on some things like how much dmg I took and stuff. I appreciated that the coins didn't disappear after a certain amount of time, so I could always get them. Nice job here.
