Death Note Teaches Typing

This game was hard, but fun. The music threw me off the first time I heard it. I was expecting it to be more dramatic. but the consept is pretty cool. Good job! If you rework this you could easily use this as an educational video game for kids. Like turn it into a Horror game where they have to spell out the items they want to use to keep them safe like to hold onto a doorknob to make it so the monster can't get it they have to type doorknob each time it tries to get in.

I was unable to actually download this, every time I did I got a notification that the zip was corrupt

@lemonz-418 Cool suggestion. I deliberately made it hard because I want the player to have interaction with the reaper, or else it will be totally out of line with the theme of the jam. Thanks for trying my game.

Love it! The art style is simple but cohesive, I like the simple time slowing down mechanic and the music worked surprisingly well for the game :D

Very cute and fun concept. Loved the upbeat music in contrast with the kind of grim storyline.

I like the fact that you have to lose to deal with Ryuk, actually before that i didnt understood where the theme was in the gameplay. Nice job

I love the simplicity of the concept and tie-in with Death Note; the fact that you defeat the incoming enemies by writing their names. Very apt! :)

That was a funny game and the audio that slow every time is great !
