Laser Space Thingy was meant to be a bullet-hell type game where you collect scrap, which also serves as your health, and can buy new equipment after beating a level (which is regular mobs + boss at the end). As things go I vastly overestimated how much time I'd need to put in content, wasted a few hours tracking down stupid bugs and took it easy in general on saturday.
So the game is far from finished. It is lacking any sort of progression, as only the beginner weapons and monsters are in the game. I might revisit this when I have some more free time and give it a polish That said, I am quite happy with the general look of the game, I learned stuff and the code is generally neat and tidy aswell.
How to play
Buy weapons, dont kill yourself, control your ship with WASD/arrow keys and maybe point the mouse at stuff to aim.
Also, some HP bars on enemys would be good, see how close to dead they are.
