In the Magic Forest, you must defeat the Monster King to be able to rescue your grandmother. Go through eleven levels of maze with adorable monsters and buy upgrades from Gwarth and his nephews with your own life-elixer.
This was our first Ludum Dare entry and the first time that we ever made a game for that matter. We are still pretty content with the result and we ourselves find it enjoyable. We hope you do too!
"Use left mousebutton to stabbidy stab stab" - haha, funny. :) Good style of humour :) Music and sound effects would have made the game much more live. Lacks a bit on the affordance scale, and could do with a few more enemies. Props for making a game and participating, I also submitted my first game this compo! Hope you had as much fun developing it as I did :)
I didn't find any shop before level 6 and its due to the fact that I wasn't exploring before that because the movement were too slow (bet on which upgrade I took in my first visit in shop ^^) And then I have been destroyed by boss because I only had one sword and one shoe upgrade...
still enjoyed the game ^^ good first entry, hope you will participate next time
Congrats on finishing your first game :smiley:. It was funny and I had a good time with it. I would have liked to see some more variety with some of the levels.
