Best art I've seen so far! Top notch design here, not a flaw in sight. The music was very good too. This theme is bringing out the cats! Not my cup of tea as far as the game play, but this was quite the treat to experience.

Holy moly the art in this game is just incredible. So cute and charming. The music and sounds are perfect as well. I did notice that in some instances, clicking on bells to give as change would not visibly display them in the change bowl, but would still count towards the total (on Mac). But aside from that, the game is absolutely wonderful.

Looks good, sounds good, plays well, proves my mental maths needs sharpening. You could even consider selling it to schools! Apologies for the two cats I killed by being slow with my change.

Even being horrorible at counting that fast I've played multiple times, just to keep hearing the on point soundtrack and SFX, and to still see cute cats.
If I'd be veeeeery very picky, I would say that it's hard for me to tell the difference between the $ bag and the cents bag, but I think it's just me and because I'm under pressure and in need to do the math fast.

I wish there was a bit more of a difficulty curve, but tuning things like that during a game jam always seems like a pipe-dream, so it's understandable.

I really appreciate it when a simple concept is super polished, it makes all the difference in making a game feel complete, like this one. :)

Super cute art and audio :) The time limit seemed pretty unforgiving at first and I had to scramble to figure out how things worked, but once I got into the groove it felt more balanced. If it started off a bit more forgiving and ramped up over time this would be perfect!

The game has a great flow and and even more amazing feel. It's all so fully realized, perfectly round and polished. Additionally, your audiovisual art direction is, simple put, outstandingly marvellous. Among the most beautiful Ludum Dare entries for sure, quite possibly the best one.

Great graphics and sound! I never figured out the 7c thing or what made a perfect or what was going on in the top left of the screen. It would be nice to have a couple practice ones to get used to the game. But great job, I had fun dancing around to the music and making change for cats!

Really liked the art, but the gameplay was a little unforgiving in the time to work out change. Failed the first few transactions not realizing what the intent was. Might be easier to show the game scene in the tutorial part, and start with a longer time but increase difficulty.. as a line of customers form or such.

Lovely artstyle. It fits very well together with the music and the the overall mood of the game.
The polishing is really nice, the different screens and transistions feel really good.
The idea is also very interesting. Nicely done!

The game is probably not what I would wanna play but with the music the art and the charm it somehow made doing math fun. That's a big accomplishment in my book. I got a score of 154.1 and 19 purrfects (love the pun).

I think the one thing I wasn't sure on was when I'd get some cats who had the exact change already and they turned into an angel. I wasn't sure if that was supposed to happen lol

But either way this was a very well presented and fun little game. Great job!!!

@barret first of all thanks for trying the game! when that happens (a cat that wants to pay with the exact change of 7 bells) you should give them 7c in exchange to avoid turning them into angels :). The lore of the game explains this as the "7cent deal" where the shop is willing to give 7c as change for the customers that were willing to spend their whole 7 lives to buy something :p

Perfectly paced and was fun to play. Took me a second go to figure out the 7c rule but once I did I thought it was a fun little additional problem to worry about. The art is fantastic and so cute, definitely one of my favourite looking entries so far, great job.
